UPCOMING SHOWS

STORYTELLERS UNPLUGGED

The Wiseguys Present Storytellers Unplugged on the Third Saturday of each month at Cafe Eclectic.  Showtime is 10:30 p.m. This show combines fast-paced improv, guest storytellers, and scenic improv for an evening’s entertainment you can’t refuse!

This late night show is uncensored, and may not be suitable for all ages.

Cafe Ecelectic will have a special menu on hand for the show.  The Cafe does not serve alcohol, but people 21 and up are welcome to bring their own to the show with no corkage fee!

Cafe Eclectic is a non-smoking venue.

Our scheduled storyteller on January 21 is Zachary Whitten!  Zachary Whitten has Memphis in his blood and in his bones.  He was born here, grew up here, traveled across the country, and settled back here upon deciding there was no place he’d rather be.

In 2011, he spent all of the year writing short stories about Memphis. 365 of them, to be exact. You can read them all at www.MemphisFastFiction.com.

He works at local design firm, thinking heady thoughts and making the pretty things on the Internet work. Occasionally he’ll talk at Ignite Memphis, where they only let him go on last because they are scared of him.

The Wiseguys also perform their award-winning and crowd pleasing improv comedy on the second Saturday of each month at Cafe Eclectic, 603 N. Mclean. Show time is 8:00 p.m. This is an all ages show featuring fast-paced improv comedy hosted by Austin King! Admission is pay what you can.
