Greg Childers has been involved in improvisational and scripted theatre since 1989. While earning a BA in Sociology with a minor in Theatre & Communication Arts at the University of Memphis, he performed in The Bell Witch and was part of the technical crew for The Merry Wives of Windsor, Darconville’s Cat, and Whale.
From 1991 until 1995, he performed in the improvisational troupe the Overton Square Pegs. During that time, he co-wrote and performed in two television specials, Memphis Laughs and The Best and Worst of Memphis. In addition, He co-wrote and performed in a pilot episode for National Public Radio.

He has taught workshops at high schools and universities. He is the Executive Producer of the Memphis Improvisational Theatre, Director of the Training Center, and the Executive Producer of the Memphis Comedy Festival.
